The mug is made on my pottery wheel out of speckled brown stoneware clay. The outside body of the mug is glazed in an ancient copper glaze with a licorice black glaze inside. All of my glazes are lead-free and food-safe. A mountain scene has been applied around the base of the mug, and the raw clay is exposed in this area. The mountains vary on each mug.
The mug holds 18 - 20 ounces and is approximately 4-1/2 inches tall and 4 inches at the rim.
Since each mug is handmade by me in my studio, please allow for slight variations in size and color. The two mugs in stock vary in width, so some people may not consider them a perfect set.
Microwave and dishwasher safe.
